- Enter your JAMB registration Number in the column provided.
- Select the academic session you want to register for.
- Select your Student Type, i.e Direct entry or other students.
- Press the LOGIN button.

How to Register for Courses in UNICAL Using A Scratch
If you are in the 200, 300, 400, or 500 Levels, follow the below guidelines to register for your courses online.
- Go to www.unicalexams.edu.ng/enter_pin1 to create a profile.
- Enter your JAMB registration Number or Matriculation Number used in paying fees.
- Select the academic session you want to register for.
- Select your Student Type, i.e Direct entry or other students.
- Enter your scratch card PIN and SERIAL NUMBER in the space provided
- Click on LOGIN
- Finally, follow the simple procedures provided on the portal to complete your online course registration.

You are permitted to use your Result Scratch Card repeatedly during a session as a student at University of Calabar (UNICAL).
However, the Scratch Card information will be obsolete when reviewing your previous year’s results beyond the second year from the base year.
Direct entry students at the University of Calabar are required to spend three years in a four-year program and four years in a five-year program.
Consequently, their registration does not commence at 2/4.
Instead, for the four-year direct entry program, their course enrolment commences at 100, 200, and 300 levels, while for the five-year direct entry program, it commences at 100, 200, 300, and 400 levels.
It should be noted that for Direct Entry students, the first year of course registration is not 200 levels, but 100 levels.
Therefore, while registering, all Direct Entry students must select 100 levels under direct entry course registration and, likewise, select 100 levels under the direct entry platform while checking results.
