JAMB Reschedules Mock Candidates Affected by Technical Issues at no cost.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) recently conducted the 2023 Mock-UTME in 725 centres across Nigeria.
The exercise aimed to trial new measures and assess innovations that would be used for the main examination, as well as provide candidates with hands-on experience in the CBT environment.
However, the exercise experienced some hitches in a few centres, resulting in some candidates unable to sit for the examination.
JAMB has since apologized for any inconvenience caused and will reschedule affected candidates to sit for the exam at no cost.
JAMB has noted the challenges encountered during the mock exercise and plans to fine-tune its process for better results in the upcoming UTME exercise in April 2023.
The Board will continue to devise new and better ways of enhancing the quality of large-scale assessments in Nigeria.
Overall, the gains from the exercise are invaluable in the Board‘s efforts to improve the quality, security, and sanctity of its services and herald the next phase of its transformational agenda.
